End Period Poverty JA

HerFlow Foundation was created to empower women and girls about Female Reproductive Health and Rights through education and mentorship.  One of our main objectives is to eradicate Period Poverty, especially in public schools.

Period Poverty:  the inability to afford the products required during menstruation.

As a part of this mandate, we have produced a PSA that will air online and on social media.  We are asking the public to donate menstrual products to help us donate to the women and girls that are affected by Period Poverty.

The campaign will run until November 30, 2018.

Confirmed Drop Off Locations:

  • JMMB Branches
  • Kingston Bookshop Branches
  • Pepperwood Jerk (Kingston and Portmore)
  • Golden Closet – Mall Plaza
  • Buzzers – Portmore

Distribution

Products will be collected from the various locations during the month of December.  The items will be distributed to schools in January 2019.  We are targeting 20 schools and so far we have received expressions of interest from the Diaspora as well as groups who are donating products.
