This is more than a policy announcement — it is a This is more than a policy announcement — it is a historic step toward menstrual dignity and equity in Jamaica.

HerFlow Foundation is proud to stand alongside the Government of Jamaica and UNICEF in launching the National Menstrual Health Equity Initiative, a transformative partnership that will help thousands of girls access menstrual products, education, and the support they need to thrive.

For years, we have been at the forefront of the advocacy for menstrual health to be recognized as a matter of dignity, education, and opportunity.

Today, we celebrate progress, partnership, and the collective commitment to ensuring that no girl is left behind because of her period.

Spent the morning at Papine High School in collabo Spent the morning at Papine High School in collaboration with the Kiwanis Club of JBF Kingston, where we distributed menstrual products and engaged students in an important conversation about menstrual health and hygiene.

Including boys in conversations about periods is essential to breaking the stigma and shame surrounding menstruation. We remain committed to ensuring that all students have access to accurate information and resources so they can make responsible, informed decisions and help create a more supportive and understanding environment for everyone.

Across Jamaica and the world, too many girls still miss school, feel shame, or lack access to the products and information they need to manage their periods with confidence. That has to change.
